Job Description:

Kforce's healthcare client in Orange, CA is seeking a Temporary Accountant II. This position will be onsite with hours from 7:30am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the Accountant will perform professional accounting activities to ensure the integrity of the accounting information by analyzing, recording, reconciling accounting data and transactions related to treasury functions
Assist in maintaining the General Ledger system as well as assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
Participate in closing books, prepares monthly journal entries to record transactions for multiple buildings, cash and investment accounts
Perform account analysis for assigned balance sheet accounts
The Accountant will prepare bank and investment reconciliations
Record and monitor stale dated checks for all cash accounts
Assists in the process of annual unclaimed property reporting to multiple States
