This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day
financial operations of the company. This role is crucial to
ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining the
integrity of accounting records, and assisting with the preparation
of financial statements. The Accountant will work closely with the
Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure that all
financial activities are conducted and reported in accordance with
IFRS and company policies.
What you can do:
Assist in the management and preparation of the General Ledger,
including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and
ensuring accuracy of financial data
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing
schedules, reconciliations, and reports
Maintain and update the chart of accounts, ensuring consistency and
accuracy
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring
compliance with GAAP
Support the preparation and submission of tax filings and
compliance reports
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions,
including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and cash flow
management
Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance
analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and
ensure timely resolution of audit findings
Proactively identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
and contribute to the implementation of process improvements
Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Accounting or
MBA preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of corporate financial reporting, or
public accounting audit experience
Experience with general ledger functions and financial statement
preparation is required
Working knowledge and application of IFRS and/or US GAAP
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
You may also be able to contribute:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish
work within time constraints
Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience,
job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible
for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$114,600-$140,200 USD
