Who We Are: Gateways to Better Education (GoGateways.org) is a well established, faith-based nonprofit organization, located in Laguna Hills, CA. Our mission is to create a better future for children by keeping God in their schools. We equip public school educators, leaders, parents and students to protect and promote religious and academic freedom regarding the Bible and Christianity. We show them how to do this appropriately and legally, within existing constitutional boundaries, current laws, and state academic standards. Our approach emphasizes comradery not conflict, and reason not rage. And we love what we do Who We Need: We are looking for a candidate who is motivated by our mission and has a strong work ethic. The Administrative Assistant will provide assistance within several different projects such as our: Online University Program, Radio Commentaries, Character Education Program and Donor Management Software (Neon CRM). Other areas of ministry responsibility may be added or changed based on needs of the team. Position Requirements: Bible-believing, church-attending, Christian who can sign our Statement of Faith and Conduct College degree (or equivalent work experience as in 4 years of Administrative Office experience) Committed to excellent customer service in attitude and written communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills (possible proofreading/editing involved) Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. We need you to REALLY know the programs inside and out (Publisher and previous CRM experience is a plus) Social media or marketing experience is not required but would be a plus Characteristics for a Good Match: Self-starter (who can work independently) Strong Communicator (with great interpersonal skills) Detail Oriented Person (who is organized) Creative Problem-Solver Team-Focused Employee (who likes to laugh while working) Excellent Time Manager Benefits: Health benefits include medical, dental and chiropractor plans.
