areas.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Front Office Assistant, you will be part
of a team that strives to uphold Unio Health Partners' mission of
providing the highest level of care. You will be responsible for
greeting patients, checking in patients, scheduling, and verifying
insurance/payment. The Front Office Assistant supports the flow of
patient care by providing excellent patient relations.What you will
be doingWelcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or
on the telephone; answering or referring inquiriesOptimizes
patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room
utilization by scheduling appointments and follow-ups in person or
by telephone and checking patients in and outKeeps patient
appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's
arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding
provider of service delaysEnsure availability of treatment
information by filling and retrieving patient
recordsAnswering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and
professional mannerWhat you will bring to the team2 years of
experience in the medical field is required, gastroenterology
experience preferredEMR system experienceKnowledge of basic
Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Medical TerminologyBilingual-Spanish
