This is a hybrid position based at our headquarters in Arcadia,
CA.

About the Role: The Content Marketing Specialist (CMS) will be
responsible for creating, managing, and delivering strategic,
engaging, and visually compelling content across the web, email,
social media, and other marketing channels. This role will drive
brand awareness, lead generation, and member engagement through
high-quality, purpose-driven content that aligns with marketing
goals and enhances the member experience.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop
educational resources, optimize messaging, and ensure content meets
compliance standards in a regulated environment. Using the
Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) framework, you'll translate complex features
into clear, relatable benefits that resonate with our audience.

What You'll Do: The Content Marketing Specialist embraces the
Credit Union's mission of 'improving members' financial health' and
'providing exceptional member experience,' while demonstrating
support for the Credit Union's core values by consistently
representing the organization in a professional, friendly, helpful,
and timely manner. To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability

appropriate:
Content Marketing - Responsible for creating and implementing
content plans that align with business goals, target audience
needs, and marketing objectives to drive engagement and conversions
- Responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all content
ensuring all materials adhere to Foothill's branch guidelines and
for collaborating with the compliance team to ensure the content
adheres to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards - Build and
maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
to ensure content aligns with overall strategies and enhances the
member experience - Develop engaging content across various
channels (website, emails, social media, paid ads, webinars,
in-branch, direct mail, etc.) - Create visually appealing content
using design templates, and edit for accuracy, clarity, and quality
- Develop educational content to help members better understand our
products and services - Support member service teams with scripts,
FAQs, and other resources to enhance member communication - Write
clear, concise, and impactful news releases/announcements that
effectively communicate company news, product launches, and other
key milestones - Capture member reviews, testimonials, and social
media mentions to create content that leverages social proof,
builds trust, and enhances credibility - Leverage generative AI to
enhance marketing campaigns and streamline content creation for
greater efficiency and impact - Optimize content for Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) and AI search algorithms to enhance visibility,
drive traffic, and improve search engine rankings across key
platforms - Create, maintain, monitor, and manage content
calendars, ensuring timely delivery of marketing assets - Monitor
and track content performance using analytics tools, conduct A/B
testing, and refine strategies based on data insights - Stay up to
date with industry trends, competitive activities, and best
practices to ensure content remains relevant - Lead and partner
with external agencies or freelancers for larger-scale video or
design projects as needed - Maintain an organized repository of
creative files, templates, and project archives
Social Media and Community Management - Create platform-specific
strategies to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and
encourage action - Produce and schedule multimedia content
(graphics, videos, and copy) across social platforms while ensuring
consistency in brand voice - Monitor, track, and manage social
interactions and Google and Yelp pages by responding to comments,
messages, mentions, and reviews to build meaningful community
relationships - Analyze social media performance using analytics
tools, tracking key metrics such as engagement, reach, and
conversions, and adjusting strategies to optimize results
Visual Design - Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for social
media, website content, and member education - With minimal
supervision, produce engaging video tutorials, testimonials, and
promotional content that aligns with marketing objectives - Design
bite-sized, visually engaging content in Canva that captures
attention and encourages sharing and interaction - Create content
with a focus on user experience, ensuring readability and visual
appeal - Using the Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) framework, translate
complex features into clear, relatable benefits that resonate with
our audience - Repurpose content across multiple platforms,
tailoring it to each channel's audience and format - Stay updated
on design trends and industry best practices to keep creative
assets fresh and modernRequirements:Experience/Education
Requirements: - A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications,
Design, or equivalent of seven (7) years of job-related experience
is required. - A minimum of five (5) years of experience in content
creation, design, and marketing is required. - Experience with both
B2C and B2B brands in consumer tech, fintech, financial services,
or other regulated industries is preferred. - General knowledge of
the credit union industry, member service, sales, and marketing is
preferred. - Knowledge of financial marketing, advertising,
compliance, direct response, and disclosure standards is
preferred.
Other Essential Skills and Abilities: - Strong writing, editing,
and proofreading skills with an eye for detail - Proficient in
Canva and generative AI tools, with a strong willingness to upskill
- Experienced in crafting social media content, including captions,
visuals, carousels, infographics, and short-form videos -
Familiarity with platform algorithms, trends, and audience
engagement strategies - Experienced in marketing automation
systems, preferably HubSpot - Strong in project management skills
with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Excellent
communication and teamwork skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Products - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Proactive
and self-motivated, with a drive for continuous learning and
improvement in the content marketing field - Must have a method of
transportation when needed to carry out essential job-related
functions; if operating a motor vehicle, must have a valid driver's
license and proof of at least minimum automobile insurance coverage
as required by the State of California.
