Job Description Job Description Shop Helper / Maintenance Technician 1st Shift Miramar $25-$30/hr Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of CNC machines. Assist with routine maintenance tasks like refilling lubricants and coolants. Clean or replace machine filters and check coolant and oil levels. Empty chip bins and coolant tanks regularly. Report any unusual machine behavior, leaks, or wear. Follow the machine builder maintenance schedule and manufacturer schematics. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, mechanical, and pneumatics. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical experience. Ability to perform mechanical repairs on machinery. Experience working with an Ohm meter. Knowledge of lockout and tagout procedures. Familiarity with CNC maintenance and preventive maintenance. Understanding of schematics. Work Environment Work hours are from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with some overtime and occasional Saturday work. Maintenance tools will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
