Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Vice President of Patient Experience will be responsible for developing, leading, monitoring, and modifying the overall organizational approach toward improving the patient experience for our patients, engaging our providers and staff, and promoting a culture of excellence and engagement throughout Innovacare. Duties and Experience:

  • Lead design, develop, and oversee the implementation of organizational strategic initiatives for organizational experience, satisfaction and alignment of all service data to review, enhance, and direct service initiatives, as well as build and entrench a robust service culture
  • Drive and foster a culture of patient and family-centered care and service excellence, while improving the patient & family experience and patient relations across the organization
  • Work directly with the Innovacare Executive Team to assess and communicate performance, and to create change at all levels of the organization
  • Translate the concepts of service excellence, patient experience and patient relations into actionable behaviors Skills and Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree is required. Post-graduate degree is preferred
    • 7+ years of current, directly related experience in management in healthcare
    • Comprehensive knowledge of initiating, driving and sustaining improved patient/customer satisfaction
    • Ability to organize, motivate, and effectively coordinate activities through influence in operating areas not under direct supervision
    • Able to demonstrate a proven track record as an organizational change agent, good rapport with stakeholders, and excellent customer service orientations skills to deal effectively with internal and external customers
    • A proven record of implementing and accomplishing customer service improvements in a large, complex health care organization
    • Advanced knowledge of patient satisfaction survey tools, the field of consumer research, and complaint and grievance management
    • Ability to influence an enterprise workforce
    • A proven track record of results and working with process management
    • Able to lead & facilitate meetings across the enterprise and across diverse audiences
    • Able to articulate challenges and to be proactive and aggressive in thinking about new ways to do things and create enthusiasm for new initiatives
