Digital Asset Manager and PIM needed for a Contract-to-PERM hire engagement with a client in Orange County California.This person will be able to:* Select PIM and DAM system * Setup and integration of systems* Have a solid understanding of ERP system, Ecommerce, marketplace (Amazon, eBay etc.), and social channels * Able to work with multiple departments to collect and enrich data and marketing content* Train staff companywide to use the PIM and DAM systemsThe Product Information Management (PIM) and--Digital Asset Management system (DAM) specialist will work as part of a team focused on driving the collection, maintenance and syndication of product information to various channels & systems. This individual will ensure the Agility PIM DAM platform is configured to support defined data governance processes and support internal staff on optimizing the efficacy of the data collected. This role will utilize strong data stewardship acumen to ensure data quality standards and implement KPI's.Responsibilities* Collaborate regularly with marketing and sales teams, e-commerce, IT, and other cross functional departments, to establish and communicate data syndication processes and identify opportunities* Supports internal relationships for product information, including accuracy of data, formatting, attribute development and all aspects of product information maintenance* Prioritize syndication requests according to business and customer needs, building strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors* Identify gaps in product information and processes and subsequently coordinate and execute activities to address these issues with other participants across the organization* Manage the integration of PIM and DAM with other internal and external software systems, system integrators and identifying opportunities for improved processes and efficiencies* Aggregate and publish product information from internal systems (i.e. images, product content, specifications, etc.) based on company requirements* Creation of PIM Event Structures: Define the structure, products, objects and relationships required for publications, based on marketing and product management input* Creation of PIM Design Structures: Decide what attributes, asset relationships or publishing blocks should be used within a publication, packaging design and creation of any required publishing blocks which do not already exist* Creation of PIM Design Template: work with the graphic designers to develop the basic layout of where the design structure PIM elements go, similar to a wireframe for a webpage and input the styling and layout of the PIM elements* Troubleshoot as needed.* Assist the graphic design team in defining the styling, layout, content rules, link specific PIM objects * Support Marketing/graphic design in defining and implementing standardized styling rules like Bold, Hard/Soft Returns, Bullets, Special Characters (Trademark, Registered, Copyright, etc.) define any standardized rules auto-wrapping, font reduction/increase, missing info, etc.* Support video and photography team by collecting all digital assets, approval system and update PIM* Coordinate all activities related to adding new product as well as all maintenance aspects of product information* Lead efforts to reach timely resolutions to all issues or questions pertaining to customer requests for product information* Operational support for all data publishing/syndication activities with customers/channel partnersExperience:* Demonstrated success utilizing a PIM to facilitate the collection and enrichment of product data * Experience with data ETL processes* Experience leading the maintenance of master data solutions within a, ERP, or CRM platform would be a plus.* Working in cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization * Preferably five or more years of experience in information intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises* Experience with enterprise content management solutions and web content management solutions. Acumatica ERP and Epi-Server experience is a plus* Ability to deal with ambiguity and change within a fast-paced environment* Ability to organize broad information from numerous sources into cohesive, usable and effective content for publishing* Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills* High attention to detail* Self-motivated individual able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment* Deep understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people/companies are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies)* Extensive knowledge of product information management platforms, content management, data taxonomies and content syndication
