JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives. They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. Project Manager will establish key baseline analytics and identify process improvement opportunities that can be measured with metrics-based tools and ensure that business process outcomes meet business goals and objectives.

Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects and initiatives.

Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost / benefit analysis for business to make informed decisions.

Create operationally sound metrics, provide data integrity oversight and technical expertise for process improvement projects, ensuring best practices are identified, shared and replicated where appropriate.

Deliver quantifiable operational process improvement analysis and financial benefits.

Maintain and communicate strategic business intelligence plans so that management and development team have a clear understanding of the vision and direction of adopted data solutions.

Develop, maintain and communicate data management standards so that all users of the data can clearly understand limits and capabilities.

Perform initial data quality analysis so that design and implementation risks are reduced.

Act as a change agent towards a metrics based continuous improvement culture.

Identify opportunities for improvement across all functional areas including operations, engineering, infrastructure technology and logistics.

Continually streamline and optimize processes to adapt to changes in the environment, compliance with business strategy, policies and government regulations.

Demonstrate organizational leadership, analysis and capability for timely, clear and decisive action.

Demonstrate knowledge of and support of company mission, vision, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and the code of ethical behavior.

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of existing business processes, and establish solid relationships with all departments.

Identify performance gaps, prioritize optimization efforts, and introduce improvements and innovations that impact results and enhance productivity and profitability.

Identify and recommend quality standards within the business process for improvement and control.

Prepare detailed analysis to clarify specific requirements of each project.

Manage and analyze data from various historical data systems and act as liaison between business users and vendor partners.

Develop detailed action plans and assign responsibilities together with leadership teams.

Anticipate and plan for process integration opportunities that support business objectives.

Develop and implement process documentation library, process documentation update and change control, and process documentation access management.

Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with senior management as well as other staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of project management experience.

Experience with process improvement and inventory control.

Successful track record of identifying, leading and driving change within a dynamic organization.

Excellent project management skills and strong knowledge of project methodology.

Track record of working cross functionally, relationship building, conflict resolution, negotiation and decision making.

Superior leadership, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.

Exceptional determination, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.

Ability to engage, inspire and empower employees to provide input into process change.

Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.

Strong talent for innovation.

Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices and procedures, including the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
