This position will be tasked with the following key objectives:
--- Execute a strategic energy operation plan that aligns customer service, sales and volume building, merchandising, inventory management, budgeting and expense control with EverGRO business and financial goals
--- Direct daily operations to optimize resources and team members skills to achieve profitable targets as well as meeting customer needs
--- Review and analyze financial reports, market trends, and industry updates to seek opportunities to increase operating efficiencies
--- Lead the development and growth of the Energy team; coach members to drive sales by providing superior customer engagement and service
--- Coordinate with division leadership in establishing staffing plans throughout the year to adjust for seasonal adjustments and budget requirements
--- Supervise vehicle and equipment maintenance programs
--- Safeguard facility assets: maintaining inventory control process to ensure inventory integrity -
--- Oversee administrative aspects of the division; payroll, vendor/customer relations, accounts payable, credits, etc.
--- Drive and prioritize safety initiatives; providing leadership related to safety trainings, OSHA and EAP regulations and OMC Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) trainings, maintain current Emergency Response Planning records and ensuring a safe working environment for both team members and customersSome positions will have the following work environment qualities:
--- The work environment will vary based on location. Essential job functions are primarily performed indoors in a climate controlled environment, however they may also be performed in a warehouse environment that is subject to seasonal temperatures and humidity, and outdoors unprotected from weather conditions. For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.
--- At least 5 years of working experience in petroleum, propane, refined fuels, lubricants, or energy
--- At least 2 years of hands-on leadership experience, serving in a position with direct reports
--- A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
--- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills -
--- A knack for relationship building and problem-solving -
--- A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within OMC
--- A high school diploma/GED is required, and any further education related to the agricultural industry is a plus! -
--- A valid Driver's License
--- Certifications/Licenses required; willing to train throughout career to obtain, if not already completedWhere Do I Begin?
