What you will be doing

The Director of Pharmacy Business Analytics serves as the overall
product owner for the InSite data solutions portfolio offered to
Elevate Provider Network and Good Neighbor Pharmacy members. This
role, through partnership with internal and external customers,
ensures that data solutions offered are relevant, and reflect
industry changes to continually provide actionable data use, value,
and insights. This role is also responsible for ensuring the setup
and configuration of all existing data sources as well as any new
sources that are acquired. This role will ensure strong data
governance policies across all inbound data sources to the InSite
solutions portfolio and ensures appropriate access and use of
customer data. This individual is also responsible for facilitating
communication between direct reports and other members of the
Market Place Solutions, IntrinsiQ, Accelerate, and Innovation teams
as well as external data source partners in order to ensure the
successful completion of collaborative projects.
- Acts as overall business owner of the InSite services
portfolio, identifying opportunities to drive innovation,
differentiate the offering, sets short-term and long-term goals to
achieve consistent and accurate product offerings that drive value
for AmerisourceBergen and customers.
- Guides team in defining and evaluating consistent data quality
measurements across the portfolio offering to ensure consistency in
application, and calculations of metrics and analyses.
- Through a deep understanding of the community pharmacy business
model leads the collaboration with our program leaders to conceive,
develop, and present intuitive, compelling, action-oriented
analyses that drive performance improvement with our community
- Ensures the integrity and security of data is held to the
highest standards and adheres to privacy policies and procedures
that protect the privacy of and access to pharmacy data as well as
protected health information in compliance with federal and state
laws and our information privacy practices and customer
- Works cross-functionally with the Drug company and program
leaders, including the Elevate Contracting team and GNP Business
Coaching team, to define new business analysis requirements,
translate these requirements into functional requirements, set
development expectations and deliver solutions in collaboration
with InSite IT team.
- Manage the various project schedules throughout duration of
projects (role assignment, start dates, due dates, status
monitoring and reporting) to ensure visibility to leadership on all
- Develops and manages the intake and audit processes for
expanded use of customer data and related de-identified patient
data generated; develops reports that will automatically generate
outliers; works directly with the internal teams to provide a
consistent process for new data use, legal and compliance
approvals, data integrity, consistency, and reliability when InSite
data is applied throughout the organization
- Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports and ensures
collaboration with InSite IT team to deliver the highest quality
and most accurate information for analytic purposes.
- Instrumental in building a data-driven culture among the
broader program teams by developing deep subject matter expertise,
providing thought leadership, and offering unique
- Ensures appropriate team standard operating procedures and
controls are in place and reviewed to support annual renewal of SOC
audit processes and business continuity

InSite Solutions portfolio and occasional travel to represent AB at
industry conferences, meetings, and other public events.

What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as science, business
administration, accountancy, marketing, computer sciences or
similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a
four-year bachelor's degree Program or equivalent work experience.
Normally requires a minimum seven (7) to ten (10) years related and
progressively responsible experience; minimum five (5) years'
experience in managing data from multiple data sources with quality
assurance; project management experience that includes the use of
tracking tools and internal and external communication methods.

operations and drivers of revenue within a pharmacy.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of pharmacy datasets,
pharmacy claim processes and data definitions
- Excellent customer service skills, proven track record of
detail-oriented problem solving, trouble shooting, and follow up to
