We're prepping for scheduled maintenance! Application

on Saturday. INVISTA is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to
join its Orange, TX site leadership team. This role leads the
process engineering team as they support process safety,
environmental, yield, production and operating cost goals in a
Nylon intermediates facility built on industry-leading process
technology.As INVISTA invests in advanced automation, wireless
sensors, predictive analytics, connected worker, and many other
enabling technologies, the process engineering team plays a vital
role in transforming the way we work at all levels of the
organization to leverage maximum value. This role is primarily a
day shift position outside of specific events such as Turnarounds

environment ! What You Will Do In Your Role
- Accountable for staffing, personnel development, and
performance of the process engineering team.
- The process engineering team supports site operational goals
and strategic initiatives around:
- Process safety management excellence
- Yield performance
- Quality
- Process constraints and asset availability
- Operator training and development
- As a site leadership team member:
- Motivate, influence, and drive good business decisions forward
while working with a diverse workforce
- Encourage a principle-based culture supporting employee-driven
solutions
- Challenge status quo thinking. Foster experimental discovery in
pursuit of step-change improvements in our operations.The
Experience You Will BringRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as an operations, production, or process
engineer in a chemical/petrochemical/refining facility
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering supervisor
- Able to meet all physical and other working conditions listed
below
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United
States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa

- Experience in root-cause analysis, process hazard analysis,
failure modes and effects analysis
- Experience in ISO 9001 quality management
- Process modelling and simulation experience
- Distributive control system and advanced automation

range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available
market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the

$120,000.00 - $ 170,000.00 per year . This role is eligible for
