Position: Compliance ManagerLocation: North Los Angeles Position SummaryWSH Management is currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager for multiple properties located in North Los Angeles, CA. Job Duties

• Under the supervision of the Director of Compliance, oversees the compliance of LIHTC, Section 8, BOND and any other owner related compliance that may be necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory agreements and financing agencies. Performs a wide variety of tasks directly related to training, policy development and oversight of affordable housing communities from acquisition through occupancy.
• Provide training and onboarding to new staff. Provide follow up to make sure that new policies are being followed.
• Monitors all compliance and reporting regarding LIHTC, Section 8, BOND or Lender/Investor requirements.
• Ensures compliance staff audits Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) move in and recertification files for all LIHTC financed properties.
• Assist in developing Policy & Procedures regarding Compliance on an ongoing basis. Set up good practices to ensure that Managers are referring to regulations and make suggestions for changes when necessary.
• Ensure that all compliance policies are in place to operate the property at the most efficient manner possible to ensure the highest quality care to our residents.
• Provide a solid base and referral source for ongoing employee training and oversee documentation of such training.
• Review monthly Compliance for Vital Factor consideration.
• Assist with due diligence, as necessary when acquiring a new property.QualificationsWhile we are proud to offer on-the-job training for all positions, we prefer you to start with the following experience:
  • A minimum five-years' experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience with
  • LIHTC, HOME, BONDS, Section 8, HCD and other affordable housing programs is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and maintain auto insurance coverage.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
  • Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Competence in operation of telephone, business calculator, copy machine, facsimile, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook, Yardi and other software.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.Compensation
    • Base Pay Start Rate: $95,000 - $100,000 salary.
