The GP32 COMMUTE Division is excited to announce openings for five (5) Account Manager positions (Level 2) based in Southern California. These positions will be housed in COMMUTE offices in the South Bay, Orange, and San Diego. COMMUTE is the leader in vanpooling, and at the forefront of the development of the luxury commuting segment. We are looking for committed, entrepreneurial individuals to help us develop this business and grow our industry. Currently market penetration in Southern California is less than 1% of the potential market. High housing costs, rising gas prices, and increased traffic fuel this market. We offer a luxury commute service that provides a more comfortable commute, improves the quality of our customer's lives, and saves them money. Additionally, local government agencies provide subsidies to buy down the cost for our renters. Growth is our #1 priority, and we are looking to expand our sales team and develop the future leaders of this rapidly developing business. The Account Manager (AM) position is both a B2B and B2C sales position, working closely with both individuals and large employers. This position includes a company car, cell phone reimbursement and expense account. We are looking for individuals committed to helping us reach our goal of 5,000+ units in the Group. The Account Manager (AM) position is both a business-to-consumer and business-to-business outside sales position. The AM is responsible for seeking out and engaging employees who would benefit from our service, and selling them into vanpools. In addition, the AM is responsible for developing a relationship with the point-of-contact at each employer in their book of business and using that relationship to seek out, engage, and sell to employee groups on a regular basis: - AMs target employees who live 15+ miles from work. There are more than 5 million of these employees in Southern California. Currently less than 1% of these long-distance commuters vanpool to work - The AM uses marketing (work sites, military bases, etc.) and mapping at employers to identify and engage potential employee groups - AMs focus on all aspects of the sales process. This includes developing effective relationships with decision makers at companies, regularly mapping employees, building advertising campaigns at client worksites, meeting with potential vanpool groups, conducting van shows and selling the benefits of vanpooling - AMs also manage incoming phone and web leads from interested groups, and make outgoing calls each month. - AMs are paid commissions on vehicles delivered - AMs are anticipated to make $65K-$90K their first year based on performance - Must be one of the following positions (or similar) in GP32 Enterprise Assistant or Branch Manager, Car Sales Account Executive, Truck Assistant or Branch Manager, Fleet Management AE or AM, BRSE, RMC Supervisor - Must meet your Region/Business Unit's current promotional criteria or have approval to apply - Must have Meets Requirements or above on most recent review - Must not be on probation of any kind Additional qualities that will be considered during the interview process: - Must be able to build a compelling position: negotiate, overcome objections, and influence others positively - Must be self-disciplined and organized: be able to deliver on commitments, plan ahead, and work in an efficient manner - Must be coachable: open to critique and show the ability to change and improve - Must be able to focus on results and business objectives (high achiever) - Must be resilient with solid examples of overcoming adversity.
