  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVPICU Shift:--Nights--/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per weekLength:--8 weeksMust work Sat/Sun every other weekend/month; some holidays required (in mix with regular staff) Will float to other ICU's before floor Requirements:
  • CA License
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • ACLS, BCLS, PALS
  • IV start, Telemetry, Vents, Art lines
  • CCRN preferred
  • Special Equipment: Chest tube management CVPs, art lines, Pacemakers Defibrillators VentsMinimum 2 years experience.Must work Sat/Sun every other weekend/month; some holidays required (in mix with regular staff) Will float to other ICU's before floorPatient Age Group: Neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adultsStaffing Ratios: 1:1-2Documentation system: cernerCommunication: 5P handoffPatient diagnosis: primary surgical; birth to adultsUnit details: Highly variable patient population. Mostly surgical and large majority will be babies. Acuity varies as well ECMO - have technicians that run the pumps Nitric Oxide, pacemakers, Chesttubes, invasive monitors Bedside procedures (chest tube placement, cardioversions, etc) No floating to ED or Mental HealthSpecial Equipment: Chest tube management CVPs, art lines, Pacemakers Defibrillators VentsRequired Certs: ACLS, BCLS, PALSPreferred Certs: CCRNRequired Skills: IV start, Telemetry, Vents, Art linesPreferred: Level 1 Trauma experienceUnit: CVICUCOVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required + Booster Medical/Religious--Exemptions onlyEpic Travel Staffing :
