Job Description:

Seeking Physician Assistant to provide medical services to Primary Care patients facility-wide, as directed by the Medical Director.


Assumes the responsibility and accountability for the continuity of health care regardless of the presence or absence of disease. Performs physical examinations, employing a combination of nursing and medical functions approved by standardized procedures.


Diagnoses, treats, and prescribes medications under the supervision of the Medical Director and in accordance with the Physician Assistant's Scope of Practice. Orders lab and diagnostic work in conformance with the Medical Director's written protocol for the treatment of specific illnesses or diseases.


Performs minor lacerations, as ordered, and supervised by the Medical Director and his/her protocol.


Provides patients and their families with education, comfort, and relative information in accordance with their medical care as needed.


Review laboratory values and diagnostic tests in a manner appropriate to the standard of care. In case of a patient with an emergency, administer all appropriate care and ensure appropriate transfer of care to appropriate level of care via the emergency medical system.


Discharge patients from the clinic with appropriate instructions and follow up care. Part-time and full-time considered.


Our PA performs physical examinations, confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to assure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care.


Identifies the health status of patients by taking medical histories, performing examinations, and initiating and evaluating screening and diagnostic procedures. Completes H&P documentation and visit within 24 hours of intake as well as completes follow up visit documentation within 24 hours.

*SALARY RANGE:*


$70 - $100.50 per hour
