neuropsychology practice focused on partnerships with skilled
nursing and acute care facilities. We provide adult and aging
adults with inpatient mental health treatment in a collaborative

everything we do. Position Summary: We are seeking a California
licensed Psychologist in the Orange County area to provide
inpatient psychological services, including assessment, ongoing
therapy and recommendations for treatment. Our clinicians consult
with the interdisciplinary staff of multiple skilled nursing
facilities. In this role, you will act as a key representative in
ensuring the benefits of our services extend beyond direct patient
care to support the efforts of facilities, and their staff, in
caring for residents. This is a salaried employee position offering
a blend of independence with the benefits of being part of a team
for support, collaboration and professional growth. We handle the
administrative work (generating caseload, verifying insurance,
credentialing, billing, support, EHR, audits, and compliance), so
you can focus on providing care to a diverse and clinically complex
population otherwise underserved in mental health. Bilingual skills
to support our patient population is a plus! Duties &
Responsibilities: Clinical Provide mental health assessments,
diagnosis and treatment for patients with adjustment issues,
disorders of aging, chronic mental health disorders and
debilitating medical conditions. Collaborate with physicians,
nursing, social services and other multidisciplinary team members
to develop and implement treatment plans. Provide individual
therapy and behavioral and cognitive interventions in treating
psychological disorders. Provide crisis intervention services.
Provide education, training and consultation to facility staff. As
needed, provide appropriate support to patient's family, including
psychoeducation and feedback to increase acceptance and adherence
to treatment. Facility / Customer Establish and nurture
professional relationships with facility staff. Adhere to the
policies and protocols of each assigned facility. Collaborate with
staff to identify and prioritize patients. Obtain approvals and
required documentation. Coordinate schedule with each facility
weekly. Share mental health information with staff to assist in
their daily care of residents. Ensure seamless communication and
updates on patient encounters, issues and next steps. Participate
in behavioral management and other interdisciplinary meetings.
General Meet established service levels for response, treatment and
reporting. Maintain scheduling and caseload to meet established
goals. Accurately and completely maintain patient's electronic
chart with all required notes, testing and documentation.
Participate in company peer consultations regarding cases,
situations and challenges. Respond to internal and external calls,
emails, texts and other communication in a timely manner. Work
Environment: Psychologists can expect to perform certain duties,
such as administrative tasks and occasional telehealth sessions
from their home. Additionally, employees will be assigned various
designated facilities where they will be expected to regularly
report and conduct in-patient activities and services. Employees
are expected to travel between work locations regularly. To ensure
employees are able to meet the demands and requirements of the
position, employees who perform duties "on-site" are subject to
periodic and regular health screenings (COVID testing, etc.).
COVID-19 vaccination and booster required. Employees must be able
to regularly wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE),
such as gloves, face masks, medical gowns and similar. Minimum
Qualifications: PhD / PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an
accredited college or university. Valid and current license to
practice psychology in the state of California, free of any
restrictions or limitations. A National Provider Identifier.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and psychotherapy research
modalities Familiarity and experience with DSM-V as a means of
diagnosis. 2+ years of experience assessing, diagnosing and
treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions. 2+ years creating
and implementing functional treatment plans with multidisciplinary
teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely and efficient
manner. Able to adapt to different and changing work environments.
