Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric PACU experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care guidelines - Experience working in both Pre-OP and PACU, including phase 1, phase 2, and discharge - Ability to manage pediatric patients Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatric PACU. This position requires strong experience with pediatric patients, particularly those aged 0-25 years. The role includes managing both pre-operative and post-operative care. Candidates must be prepared to handle high volumes, especially during peak periods. Experience with trachs, vents, and G-tubes is preferred. The nurse will engage in various procedures across multiple specialties including ENT, Urology, and General Surgery. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care, focusing on a diverse pediatric population. Call shifts are required, 4-6 per 6-week schedule. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to float between Pre-OP and PACU. Two references from a supervisory level or above in a nursing capacity are required prior to hiring.
