$3,731 per week About The Position Job Title: Pediatric Intensive
Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in a high acuity/high census
PICU License: Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum 1.5 years of
experience specific to high acuity/high census PICU - Previous
assignments for more than 8 weeks from similar high-volume
facilities Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in
the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The role requires working four
12-hour day shifts. The candidate will be expected to work two out
of three major holidays. The position includes weekend and floating
responsibilities primarily to NICU and CVICU but may include other
areas. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. The
candidate must be skilled in caring for patients aged birth to 18
years. Specific skills include management of arterial lines,
administering conscious sedation, and CRRT. The role involves
caring for critically ill pediatric patients with complex diagnoses
such as metabolic, respiratory, endocrinology, oncology,
neurosurgery, trauma, and cardiology conditions. The successful
candidate will be adept in various critical care activities,
including but not limited to ventilator management and high-flow
nasal cannula (HFNC) administration. It is essential to have a
demonstrated history of working in reputable, high-acuity
facilities. Due consideration will be given to candidates with
