Job Description CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric
subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group
practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a
premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif that is now
part of Rady Children's Health (RCHOC) CHOC is exclusively
committed to the health and well-being of children through clinical
expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced
treatment to pediatric patients. Critical Care Physician-CVICU
RCHOC Specialists is seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiac
Intensivist to join our growing team. Responsibilities include
providing quality care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients from birth
to young adulthood. Our service is exclusively inpatient with
shared rotating night and weekend call. Opportunities in research,
advocacy, palliative care, quality improvement, informatics,
fellowship education and administrative activities are available
and encouraged. We are a primary teaching location for the
University of California, Irvine. The ideal candidate will be
fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible in pediatric
critical care and pediatric cardiology and be eligible for a
California medical license. We will also consider candidates who
are fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible in
pediatric critical care with significant cardiac ICU experience or
with a fourth year of dedicated cardiac ICU training. CHOC
