Job Description AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel job in Orange County, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Home Health | Orange County & Brevard County, FL We are currently hiring two full-time Physical Therapists to support our growing home health caseloads: 1 PT to float across Orange County 1 PT to float across Brevard County ? Position Highlights: Full-Time Schedule: 30 visits/week (adjusted for SOC/OASIS documentation time) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Mileage Reimbursement: \$0.70/mile when traveling between patient homes Population Served: Geriatric only – no pediatric cases Caseload: Established and steady patient volume Coverage Area (Brevard): Entire county, split by days (e.g., North on Mon/Wed, South on other days) ? Scheduling: Daily schedules finalized by 5 PM the day prior Clinicians contact patients directly to set appointment times Support from schedulers to update EMRs accordingly EMR Systems: Primary EMR: Pariox (used to house full schedule) Agency EMRs: Kantime, Kinnser (WellSky), Axxess, Homecare Homebase Clinicians document in the EMR system used by each agency ?? Team Structure: PTs focus on SOC, Evaluations, Reassessments, and Discharges PTAs handle routine visits when possible Virtual orientation and training available – most staff work remotely ?
