$3,052 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 -
07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in high acuity/high census
PICU License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
PALS Must-Have: Experience with managing patients aged birth to 18
years. Experience with arterial lines and concious sedation.
Experience with CRRT, ECMO, and critical care for metabolic,
respiratory, endocrinology, oncology, neurosurgical, level 1
traumas, and cardiology patients. Previous assignments for more
than 8 weeks from reputable facilities with high volume and high
acuity. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric
Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. This position requires
working three 12-hour shifts each week. The RN will be expected to
work during two of the three major holidays. Candidates must have a
minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity/high census PICUs.
The role may require floating primarily to NICU and CVICU but also
to any other area as needed. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
are required. Experience with Cerner documentation is preferred.
Skills required include: - Managing blood products and anti-seizure
medications - Arterial line management - Assisting with intubation
and managing chest tubes - Care for ventilated patients - Central
line care and monitoring - Pediatric dosage calculations -
Administration of TPN and lipids, among others This position will
include caring for critically ill children with various complex
diagnoses and the use of advanced medical technology. Candidates
should demonstrate a positive history of extensions in travel
nursing roles. Please note that candidates are required to have a
valid California RN license. Travel nurses will be the first to
