Position SummaryAn HR Assistant performs a wide range of Human Resources functions. The duties include recruiting, orientation, maintain vital employee records, preparing reports, and ensure the smooth operation of the HR Department.Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, posting job ads, organizing resumes and job applications, vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
  • Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars.
  • Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department including writing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientations.
    • Serving as a point person for all new employee questions
    • Performs other duties as assignedEducation and Work Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field a plus
      • 1+ years in human resources preferred
      • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, other ADP products or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus
      • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices a plusSkill Set
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
        • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
        • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
