Job Description:

Reporting to the VP of IT, the Principal Engineer (Full Stack) in the ECS team will collaborate with engineers across various disciplines, as well as Business and UX teams, to deliver new functionalities for the membership experience of our D2C application.Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable, secure architecture solutions.
• Ensure all designs adhere to North Star architecture principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate architecture solutions effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in architectural practices.
• Establish and enforce technical standards and methodologies.
• Translate organizational goals into technical strategies and actionable plans.
• Advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and tools, monitoring industry trends and incorporating relevant advancements.
• Work with product management, operations, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback.
• Oversee architecture projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

  • 10+ years in a senior engineering role focusing on architecture and design.
  • 8+ years working with NodeJS, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Background in backend development, including GraphQL & Apollo.
  • Hands-on experience with native mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
  • Ability to facilitate discussions of complex technical concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience building secure, accessible, and high-performance software.
  • Experience implementing Cloud/Hybrid Cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Proficiency with Git SCM command line and related tools.
