The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, litigation, construction defect, construction law, and/or general liability defense. Construction defect is a must. We are looking for someone to hit the ground running in this area of expertise.Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, filing, and managing client files.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments and meetings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys.Qualifications:Experienced Trial Secretary, having taken at least one case to trial in Construction defectLitigation SecretaryExperience with the following: E-filing with state, appellate and federal courtsCounty of Orange and surrounding countiesComp & Net Docs exp preferredCase Anywhere and One Legal experienceMotions for Summary JudgementPreparing table of contents and authoritiesOrganized, focus detail oriented, Multi tasker, Critical thinkerPrep discoveries and responsesBriefing and trial exhibitsArbitration filings and proceedingsWord outlook, One legal, Case AnywhereIf you are a highly motivated and experienced legal secretary with a passion for the legal industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
