Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel-Consumer
Banking.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on consumer deposit and loan products,
including compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Collaborate with internal partners to assess and manage legal,
regulatory, and reputational risks
Guide internal partners during regulatory examinations and assist
in the development of consumer banking policies
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years as a practicing attorney with relevant
financial services experience, including 5 years as in-house
counsel
Licensed Attorney in Virginia, North Carolina, or New York, or
eligible for admission in those jurisdictions
Completion of an accredited Law School with a J.D. degree
Completion of four years of undergraduate study with a degree
