Reporting to the Assistant Manager/Manager, Warehouse Operations, this individual will ensure the efficient, safe, and compliant processing of warehouse activities. The Supervisor will be responsible for team performance, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency within their team. Responsibilities: Team Supervision and Leadership:Directly supervise a team of Warehouse Operations Associates and Lead Associates. Provide daily guidance, support, and direction to team members in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Monitor individual and team performance against established targets and KPIs. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and reinforce best practices. Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development, particularly in safety procedures and operational efficiency. Daily Operations Management:Oversee the daily processing of warehouse activities, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and on time. Ensure the team adheres to all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations. Monitor and ensure accurate and timely data entry into relevant systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Coordinate with carriers, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of goods. Resolve routine operational issues and escalate complex problems to the Assistant Manager/Manager. Warehouse Management and Optimization:Ensure the efficient use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) by the team. Oversee accurate inventory control and management within the team's area of responsibility. Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout within the team's area of responsibility. Ensure the proper handling and use of warehouse equipment. Compliance and Safety:Ensure the team adheres to all relevant safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and security procedures. Enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and ensure a safe work environment. Oversee proper handling of materials and equipment. Reporting and Communication:Provide regular updates to the Assistant Manager/Manager on team performance, operational issues, and potential risks. Maintain accurate records and reports as required. Other Duties:Perform other department members duties during their breaks, lunch, or as designated by Assistant Manager/Manager. Perform and instructs general housekeeping duties including sweeping, breaking down cartons, and throwing out trash. Perform any other duties, as assigned. Obligation:Follow instructions from Assistant Manager/Manager. Positive Attitude:Positive attitude is a must, and able to function as part of a team.
