Job Description:
Job Duties: Drive ownership of an array of products within the global
product roadmap, for Beckman Coulter. Conduct financial and
competitive analysis, development and creation of new service
product offerings and strategies within the product series. Create
the requirements for these service products. Develop and create the
service product pricing, marketing collateral, and product launch
materials. Responsible for launching service products to the sales
and services organization. Monitor and recommend changes to the
service product initiatives. Customer and market segmentation and
VOC activities to discover customer needs and align with value
propositions. Execute strategies that are breakthrough and that
create clear competitive differentiators that elevate the customer
experience and retention. Drive Product Life Cycle Management for
the Service offerings of current and ongoing service contracts,
across all Beckman Coulter (Dx) service instrumentation, which
includes current and aging instrument contracts, specifically
identifying strategic ways to expand contract profitability. Create
and drive the execution of Service strategies for growth by using
the voice of customer and financial modelling. Propose new value
added service offerings and modifications to existing services and
service contracts that will be sold both locally and globally
(regionally) to increase revenue and company profitability. Define
and guide the implementation of growth and pricing strategies by
working with the service and marketing product teams, in addition
to the regional pricing managers to define product, pricing and
placement (regionally) based on the analysis created for targeted
geographys and country profitability. Partner and leverage
Marketing resources on outbound activities by working with
marketing teams to develop product launch materials and other sales
collateral. Drive and expand service capabilities and generate
additional profitability. Work across the organization with
marketing, sales and the business units to create service products
and positioning that complements the overall business. Identify
local best practices and leverage those across the Regions by
focusing on North America and then expanding globally to regions
that include emerging markets like Europe and Asia Pacific. Work
with local service and marketing teams within the specific regions
to ensure that the product and product offerings developed meet
regional needs. Utilize kaizen to create and continuously improve
processes focused on the implementation. Up to 25% travel
required. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, business management, engineering,
science or related field (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in job or in
operational excellence, product development, strategy and
marketing. Experience must include: Creating global marketing strategy and
value proposition for products and/or services; Support the
creation of new product or service offerings by working with
business units to perform forecasting, financial analysis,
competitive intelligence and data analytics; Operational
excellence, driving cost reduction in collaboration with
Engineering, Process Development, and Supply Chain globally;
Collaborating with strategic marketing organization to develop
highly effective commercialization strategies based on the robust
