Youare a senior leader responsible for guiding the organization
through objectiveand strategic market insights. You will be
responsible for delivering marketresearch insights related to
global product and pipeline development andcommercial assessment
within Allergan Aesthetics.

YOU WILL: Design, execute, and socialize MarketResearch related
to Pipeline Planning, Global New Product Marketing, andBusiness
Define Global market research priorities incollaboration to
proactively address key business decisions
Create foundational market understanding through thedevelopment
of treatment flow maps, market segmentation,
attribute/benefittesting, positioning and campaign development,
Conduct primary research: developqualitative and quantitative
market research studies with physicians, patients,and other
Manage vendors to determine appropriateresearch methodology,
ensure project alignment to business objectives and guideexecution
Collaborate on Forecasting and Analytics Related toPipeline
Planning, Global Marketing and Business Development
Guide and influence long-term(i.e. 10-year) strategic forecasts
for pipeline and marketed products thatincorporate epidemiology,
evolving treatment paradigms, competitive products andglobal
pricing and access dynamics
Collaborate with internal experts in MarketResearch, Literature
Resources, Competitive Intelligence, R&D, andMarketing/Sales
leads to generate robust forecast assumptions
Conduct forecast scenario analysis to supportdecision-making by
Commercial, R&D, Corporate Development, Finance, andCorporate
Scope, design, and manage the executionof quantitative market
research (e.g., discrete-choice conjoint) to informrevenue
forecasting. Examples of decisions that may be informed by insights
andanalyses include progression of internal assets through the
R&D pipeline,partnerships or acquisitions of specific assets or
whole companies, strategicportfolio mix, product pricing at launch
and at the time of generic competition
Communicate results of marketresearch and forecasting/analytics
to a variety of internal stakeholders at alllevels of the

Specific Education and Experience
Significant experience conducting quantitative andqualitative
primary market research is required. Expertise in a broad range
ofqualitative and quantitative market research techniques,
including appropriateapplication of data collection and analytic
Experience in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical
andbiotech industry strongly preferred
10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry
experience,including 7+ years of market research and/or strategic
analysis and planningexperience
Previous experience in global, product development /pipeline, &
commercial assessment market research within thepharmaceutical,
healthcare, or beauty industries is preferred
Ability to travel globally and within the U.S. (20% - 40%)
Position can be in either Lake County, IL or Irvine, CA
Education and Industry Experience
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably with a degreefocused
in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
MBAor MS is preferred.
10 years of progressive experience in strategic
insights,marketing, market research, business analytics,
forecasting or a related fieldis required, experience in multiple
