Job Description:

*This job is based in Orange County, California. Currently, we are not offering relocation assistance. The Assistant Buyer will report to the Brand Manager of the company's Timepiece division. The position's primary focus will be in the areas of administration including, assisting the Buying and Brand teams in the acquisition of new product from new and existing suppliers, monitoring the flow and tracking of all new product in and out of the Madaluxe warehouse and perform analysis and reporting for the life cycle of product at the retail level. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated retail professional with an innovative business reporting acumen. Typical Duties: * Coordinates styling set up and configuration of product * Inputs and tracks all order entries for purchases made from the warehouse * Follows up with suppliers regarding delivery and shipment of orders * Functions as primary administrator for inventory system for delivery dates coordinating * Troubleshoots the maintenance needs of inventory system to ensure accuracy * Serves as point of contact between Eyewear, warehouse and sales divisions on incoming product flows * Assists the Buying team with product re-orders * Extracts and generates Inventory recap reports to support OTB * Inventory analysis and heavy reporting of inventory database * Collaborates closely with the sales team to build product status model * Works with the Brand team to create product life cycles expectations Requirements * 4 year college degree in supply chain related field required Skills and Experience * Two to four years of related experience working in an off-price and/or full price buying environment * Possess strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience with vendor com negotiations * Open2Buy software operating knowledge * Cost number and retail math experience * Advanced excel reporting skills (vlook up, pivot tables, sum/if etc.) *This job is based in Orange County, California.
