Position Summary: Under the direction of the Logistics Division Manager, the SST facilitates fleet movement, supply coordination, warehouse duties and everyday needs of daily operations. This program will help ensure adequate control of inventory, equipment and to promote proper resource management. Essential Functions: + Maneuvering ambulances for efficient deployment. + Cleans deployment grounds and facilities as assigned by area supervisor. + Maintains all warehouse shipping and receiving documentation + Delivers supplies as needed to various stations or hubs. + Perform periodic detailing of units when there is a decrease in demand. + Ensure safety protocols are met during cleaning and stocking of all vehicles. + Complete assigned inventory tasks as directed. + Is directly responsible for neat, legible, and accurate completion of all required paperwork, and/or logs that are used in the QA process for accreditation or other regulatory body compliance. Ensures the delivery of required paperwork to the appropriate supervisor daily. + Keeps warehouse and supply room clean and free of trash. + Driving of Care Ambulance Service vehicles to and from service areas, ambulances stations, fueling stations, parking areas and corporate headquarters. + Reporting any unsafe conditions or practices immediately to a supervisor. + Efficiently handling field crews' concerns in a courteous manner. + Utilizing our electronic notification system to identify areas of concern or in necessity of repair + Attending meetings that discuss the SST's areas of responsibility. + Demonstrates that internal customers are as valuable as external customers, projects appreciation and respect for all team members. + Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. + Handling and properly disposing and/or packing of biohazard materials. + Document equipment that does not meet standard operations and move to designated location. + Identify unsafe conditions, neutralize and inform supervisor of situation and action taken. + Provide exceptional customer service addressing concerns as they arise. + Adheres to all policies, procedures and directives of agencies, institutional and regulatory bodies. + Other duties as assigned.
