The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and
independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Provides on the job training to new employees.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance,
specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
- Provides input to documentation for area and equipment
- HS + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or
Ten (10) years of experience which reflect a progressively
increasing level of responsibility on complex projects as a General
Contractor, heavy construction projects, transportation, or transit
construction projects for the disciplines within the work including
mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Inspector license, comparable Deputy Inspection License for a
county for city agency, NICET certification, or other alternative
certification form an acceptable nationally recognized organization
or regional agency is highly desirable where applicable to
inspection of the trade or discipline related to mechanical,
electrical and plumbing systems.
Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification.
- Experience working on underground transit facilities.
