Job Description:
Description:
Final inspect and correct calibration certificates for customer
orders. Assure accuracy of customer orders and prepare them for
shipment using appropriate packaging materials. Ship domestic and
international with all common carriers. Update customer orders with
tracking and shipping notes and provide them to AR for invoicing.
Provide necessary insight into shipping to CSR's and assist with
shipping claims when necessary.--- Inspect outgoing customer orders
for accuracy--- Appropriately package equipment for transit---
Knowledge of FedEx UPS DHL and LTL Freight practices--- Assist
customers in claims process if necessary--- Track/Inventory of
shipping supplies for purchasing department--- Daily cleaning and
maintenance of shipping area and equipment--- Must be able to
consistently lift, pull and push 50 lbs--- Customer service--- Data
entry
Requirements:
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:--- Packaging of fragile
and sensitive items for shipping purposes, both small package and
palletizing for freight--- Use of common carrier shipping
software--- Data Entry--- *International shipping experience is
