Job Description:

Volt has multiple Equipment Operator positions and has partnered with a reputable steel and architectural metal company. This company is looking to hire full-time equipment operators in the city of Orange.

This role is ideal for anyone with equipment operating experience and looking for a long-term career! This is a temp-to-hire position 4am-12:30pm or 1:30pm to 10pm Monday-Friday. Pay rate: $24-25/hr.

Job duties include:

• Read prints to determine how to cut, bend and/or shear material
• Bend and notch pipes and tubes
• Set up & shear plates
• Drill & punch holes in material
• Use grider to debur material
• Use overhead crane
• Layout, center punch and shoot studsPreferred Qualifications:
  
  • Must know how to read shop drawings
  • Must be able to stand and move around for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
