Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Specialist to assess
the creditworthiness and risk profiles of potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of merchant applications and verify
business legitimacy
Interact with merchants to gather information and provide guidance
throughout the application process
Collaborate with internal teams to refine risk models and support
risk investigations
Required Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in KYC/KYB, compliance, onboarding, or
underwriting in payments or fintech
Knowledge of identity verification protocols and AML/BSA regulatory
frameworks
Experience reviewing business models and validating entity
legitimacy
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of regulatory
adherence
Comfortable communicating with clients to collect sensitive
documentation
