Volt is immediately hiring for a Buyer in Gardena, CA.

As a Buyer, you will:

Secure quotes and negotiate pricing and delivery terms from qualified suppliers.
Prepare and manage long-term agreements and conditions.
Identify cost-saving and sourcing opportunities through analysis and supplier engagement.
Ensure adherence to supplier KPIs including cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
Oversee supplier selection and performance tracking.
Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery with correct documentation.
Administer supplier bidding processes and evaluate proposals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support production schedules and material planning.
Maintain procurement metrics, support MRP systems, and monitor purchase price variances.

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience executing Long Term Agreements (LTAs) and sourcing strategies.
5-7 years of progressive procurement experience (preferred).
Proficiency with procurement metrics and MRP systems.
Strong analytical skills, including purchase price variance and cost savings analysis.
Background in aerospace machining or secondary processing (preferred).
A Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.50 per hour
