Learn more at www.kerrdental.comJob Description:Position Overview:In this exciting role you will support sustaining activities for the Kerr's Small equipment Medical devices category. This will include End of Life Components, VAVE Activities, Reliability Testing, Failure Root Cause Analysis, and Quality Corrective Actions. To be successful in this role you must have a working knowledge of Circuits, PCB design, layout, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams for exceptional quality, low cost, and efficient production. .Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance on a variety of electrical engineering topics to Cross-Functional Teams such as Design engineering, Sourcing/Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, External Component Suppliers, and External Contract Manufacturers.
  • Hands-On analyze and determine root cause of any failures of complex electrical systems by troubleshooting to the component level
  • Support change/NPI projects, and private label projects. Change projects include component qualifications and quality improvement.
  • Testing and troubleshooting, and compliance testing management.
  • Write testing protocols and reports. Execute the testing as necessary.
  • Review, assess and approve engineering change requests and engineering change orders as the sustaining engineering representative.
  • Lead small projects with the support from cross-functional team members and sometimes external partners.
  • Travel, less than 5%, is expected, some maybe international.Job Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Some experience on electromechanical equipment preferred. Familiar with test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters
    • Project management domain knowledge and experiences preferred
    • Capability to handle complexity
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Good organizational/time management skills and effective prioritization skills.
