With 18g of complete plant protein and only 4g-6g of sugar in every bottle, Koia is the perfect on-the-go convenient snack or pre/post workout nutrition.We are on a mission to share Koia with the world and help people stay nourished throughout their busy lives. -RoleAs an Area Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding Koia. Key areas of responsibility for the role include: growing the business within existing accounts with in-store support and relationship building activities and expanding the Koia business in your territory by partnering with distributor and broker partners. -The ideal candidate is self-driven, outgoing, analytical, detail oriented, has strong communication skills is hungry to be a part of an exciting, fast-paced, innovative company that's making a difference in the plant- based food supply. Existing relationships and knowledge of premium, chilled, perishable products, distributors, brokers, and Whole Foods is a big plus. -Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure continual customer satisfaction including: inventory levels, suggesting customer orders, working out and rotating inventory, and placing POS material -Identify and secure new customer opportunities.Meticulously plan out and prioritize weekly strategies to optimize field time - roughly hitting 10-15 accounts daily, opening 1 new account every day, taking reorders from store managers, and closing voids.Logging field data into Repsly. Setting aside portions of the day for calls and office work.Ensure execution of new product launches, promotions, and secondary placementsPartner with local distributor reps to develop growth and create a focus on Koia and brand engagement by efficient communication, participating on ridealongs, attending meeting, and managing key business measures (distribution, voids, pricing/promotion).Effective merchandising in-store with POS materials. Wearing and utilizing branded gear (shirts, sweaters, hats) and keeping cold product in your car or backpack for in-store sampling.Provide weekly recaps and updates from the field.May travel to support new openings or to support growth initiatives.QualificationsLive in the Orange County AreaBachelor's degree or equivalent.1-3 years experienceStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Great understanding of the geography and supermarkets in LA and the surrounding territory.Understanding the competitive dynamic of the market.Your own car is a plus and the ability to navigate Southern California traffic.Organized, self-motivated team player with the ability to prioritize business needs and opportunities.Ability to manage numerous, deadline-driven projects simultaneously. -Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Detail-oriented and a high level of organizational skills.Flexible to evolve as the business grows and expands.Passionate about a healthy and active lifestyleProfessional conduct within and outside the office while conducting client relations.
