Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Localization to lead
global translation and quality processes across the
organization.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the end-to-end localization process across product,
marketing, legal, and other key teams
Develop and implement a comprehensive localization strategy to
support global expansion efforts
Manage translation and quality vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness
and adherence to quality standards
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in localization, translation management, or
a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
Strong background in localization strategy and translation quality
management
Experience with vendor management, including negotiation and
performance evaluation
Expertise with localization tools and technologies, such as
Translation Management Systems (TMS)
Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) best practices and
localization quality assurance processes
