Job Description:
A company is looking for an Attorney to provide legal counsel
and ensure regulatory compliance for marketing materials related to
lending.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel and ensure compliance with regulations for
marketing materials related to lending
Review submitted marketing materials and offer timely legal advice,
including necessary changes and suggestions
Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to lending marketing
initiatives and provide guidance during the planning process
Required Qualifications
J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent legal
education and membership in good standing with a US State Bar
5-10 years of professional legal experience in regulatory
compliance within financial services, specifically lending
Expertise in navigating financial services regulations such as
TILA/Reg Z, ECOA, and FCRA
Ability to interpret laws and provide legal advice to business
teams
Preferred knowledge of additional financial services regulations
like RESPA and SAFE Act
